1. Pick (30 minutes)
- ☐ Write 3 things you can already do: a skill, a trade, or a hobby people ask you about.
- ☐ Write 3 problems people near you pay to fix. Ask 3 people; don't guess.
- ☐ Pick ONE match of skill and problem. Small and specific beats big and vague.
2. Offer (30 minutes)
- ☐ One line: “I help [who] get [result] in [time], for [price].”
- ☐ One price you can say without apologising. One package, one price.
- ☐ Ask a free AI assistant: “Rewrite this offer so a busy shop owner understands it in 5 seconds.” Then edit the answer yourself.
3. Proof (1 hour)
- ☐ Make one sample of the work. Free AI helps you draft; you check every line.
- ☐ Do one job free or cheap for a real person in exchange for an honest review.
4. Find the first 10 people (1 hour)
- ☐ List 10 names: neighbours, local shops, old colleagues, groups you belong to.
- ☐ Send a short, personal message to each. No spam, no bulk lists; follow each group's rules.
- ☐ Note who replied, who said no, and why.
5. Check before you send anything to a client
- ☐ Facts, prices, names and dates checked by you, not by the AI.
- ☐ No private customer data pasted into AI tools; use placeholders.
- ☐ Taxes, permits or licences in your country checked with an official source or a professional.
6. Every day for 14 days
- ☐ 5 new conversations.
- ☐ 1 improvement to the offer.
- ☐ 1 line in your tracker: asks, replies, jobs, money in.

FAQ
How long does the checklist take?
About three hours for steps 1 to 4, then a short daily habit for 14 days: 5 new conversations, 1 improvement to your offer and 1 line in your tracker.
Do I need paid AI tools for this?
No. Free plans of ChatGPT or Claude, Canva Free and Grammarly Free are enough to write an offer, make a sample and polish messages. Free limits change, so check each official page.
What if nobody replies to my first 10 messages?
Write down who said no and why, change one thing in the offer or the audience, and send 10 more. Silence is information, not failure. Never switch to spam or bulk lists.
Does this guarantee income?
No. Results depend on your work, your market and your offer. The checklist is a method to get your first real conversations, not a promise of money.
