Our pick: ElevenLabs

For translating a video you already shot, a dubbing tool is more direct than rebuilding it with an avatar. ElevenLabs is the cheapest verified entry (USD 6/mo). Pick HeyGen or Synthesia when the video itself will be an avatar. Check that you have rights to the voices and footage you dub, and label synthetic voices. Task-fit guidance; we have not tested dubbing quality.

Other options and what we left out

Language counts are not compared here because only HeyGen’s page gave a clear figure (30+ languages on Free, 175+ languages and dialects on Pro) and we could not match the same measure for the others.

FAQ

Is there a free AI video translator?
HeyGen Free (USD 0) allows 3 videos a month up to 1 minute, and Synthesia Basic (USD 0) gives 10 minutes of video a month. Both have limits.
